Good morning,
By 2030, there will be two groups of people.
There will be a group of people who have integrated AI into their daily lives, and there will be a group of people who have not.
From my experience, too many people will fall into the second group. They will see a new ChatGPT update, hear about another billion-dollar AI company, immediately assume they are already behind, and never start.
Don’t be in that group.
You’re not behind…you’re actually much earlier than you think.

Today, the biggest mistake you could make is believing that you need to become an AI expert to benefit from AI (trust me, you don’t have to be perfect). You only need to become comfortable using it.
Think about this for a second. Two people could have the exact same job, the same amount of experience, and even the same level of intelligence.
One person decides to use AI every day, while the other person barely touches it. At first, there’s almost no difference between them.
The first person uses AI to write a first draft of an email, summarize a document before a meeting, create a travel itinerary, brainstorm ideas for a project, and explain complicated topics in simple language.
The second person continues doing everything manually because they assume they will learn AI later.
The person using AI saves ten minutes here, fifteen minutes there, and twenty minutes somewhere else. More importantly, they begin developing confidence with the technology. They stop treating AI as something mysterious and start treating it like a normal part of their day.

What if your AI assistant had access to Ahrefs?
Agent A by Ahrefs can analyze competitors, uncover content gaps, monitor brand visibility across AI platforms, and help execute marketing tasks using Ahrefs data.
Spend less time prompting and more time shipping.
See it in action at ahrefs.com/agent-a.
Over the course of a year, those tiny moments begin to compound. If you save thirty minutes every workday, that adds up to more than 120 hours in a year. That’s the equivalent of three entire workweeks that you have given back to yourself.
You could use that time to learn new skills, spend more time with your family, build a side project, or simply make your life a little less stressful.
That’s why I don’t think AI will replace most people. What I do think is that AI will amplify people who know how to use it.
For years, being knowledgeable gave you an advantage because information was difficult to access. If you wanted to learn something new, you had to search multiple websites, watch videos, and spend a significant amount of time putting the pieces together yourself.
Today, information is free. You can ask ChatGPT a question and receive an answer in seconds (however ChatGPT isn’t always 100% perfect). That means the valuable skill is knowing what to do with that information.

Stop Paying for 6 Tools. One AI Does It All.
Your ability to think critically, ask better questions, and make decisions will become increasingly important over the next decade.
The people who thrive in 2030 will not necessarily be the people who know the most; however, they will be the people who know how to collaborate with AI. The good news is that preparing for the future is much easier than you may think. All you need to do is build small habits and stay brutally consistent.
The habits that will separate you from other people are smaller than you think.
Try opening ChatGPT before you open Google.
Before you write an email, ask AI to give you a first draft to react to rather than starting from a blank page.
When a complicated topic comes up at work, ask AI to explain it in plain language before you spend thirty minutes piecing it together yourself.
None of these feel significant in the moment, but that's exactly the point.
The divide between people will not happen overnight. It will happen quietly through thousands of tiny decisions repeated over years.
I’m not saying you have to become an AI expert by 2030. What I am saying is that you have to avoid becoming someone who never started.
